When can I start my challenge?

Your miles will only be counted from May 1st, so training miles don’t count towards your official total, but that’s not going to stop you training early is it?

What fitness tracker can I use?

Fitness Apps, like Strava or Fitbit are the easiest way. You can link your fitness app to your fundraising page to get a running total. Just follow these steps to track your miles automatically:

  1. Under the heading ‘My Fitness Activity’, click your chosen app and follow the prompts to connect your account
  2. When you next work out, select ‘start your workout’ in the app on your phone. Once you end your workout, save your workout and your distance will be published to the tally on your page the following day.

If you want to manually add your miles, simply login to your account and select ‘My Fitness Activity’. Then under ‘Add activity’, enter the date and distance.

Please note, fitness activity from active devices can take up to 24hrs to sync to your fundraising platform and will incorporate miles from any activity including walking and running.

I don’t have a fitness tracker, can I still take part?

You definitely can, you can add your distance manually. To do this, go to the 'My Fitness Activity' section on your dashboard and scroll down to the 'Add activity' section.

How do I manually edit my fitness activity?

Who can I get in touch with if I need help?

If you’ve got any questions, please send an email to or contact us by phone 0300 222 5800. One of the friendly Events Team will be in touch as soon as possible!

What happens if somebody donates to my team, will their donation show on my fundraising page?

Donations that are made directly to the team fundraising page will not sit with one individual fundraiser but show as part of the team total.

If a donation is made to an individual fundraising page, this will show on that page but it will also show as part of the team total.

If we sign up as a team, do we complete one distance together or are distances individual?

The distance target is per individual, which you choose 140 miles or 300 miles at sign up.
